LAD 28 Wilson's First Address

On March 4th, 1913 Wilson gave his first inaugural address. In it Wilson talked about how the democratic party had gained the upper hand and won by gaining support by the senate. Continuing his speech Wilson spoke about how the this election was more than a democratic election but instead an American victory. He says that he wants to aide the citizens and keep them away from any evil. He then ends it by saying that it is the American governments job to do everything for the welfare of its people.
